This position will support a Department of Energy office. The mission of this office is to provide centralized infrastructure planning processes; real estate services; program management for operations of facilities, maintenance, recapitalization, disposition, and line-item construction and perform project and contract management of line-item construction and major items of equipment. This position is remote, with the expectation that candidates can travel to Washington, DC and work onsite as needed. Residency in the Washington, DC metro area is a mandatory requirement.  **This position is contingent upon contract award.  
Responsibilities 

• Demonstrated experience in providing project leadership and guidance through knowledge of the DOE, NNSA, and Nuclear Security Enterprise.
• The individual shall also demonstrate experience working with the NSE accounting systems, sites and labs, work breakdown structures, PPBE processes, and NNSA programs, developing briefing products and reports for senior leadership, as well as serve as program manager for similar contracts including maintaining a schedule of deliverables and managing program risks.
• Expert knowledge with implementing DOE Order 473.2A
• Strong working knowledge of NNSA Business Operating Procedure (BOP)-001, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Evaluation (PPBE) Process, and OMB Circular A-11, Preparation, Submission, and Execution of the Budget
• Strong communication skills both oral and written with proven experience as a staff officer at a federal agency or military service. 

• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, Business, Govt or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of MS Product Suite (MS Project, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
• 10 or more years of directly related experience required.
• DoD or DOE experience preferred.
• TS or Q Security Clearance required. 
• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
• This position is remote, with the expectation that candidates can travel to Washington, DC and work onsite as needed. Residency in the Washington, DC metro area is a mandatory requirement.
