Malvern Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join their amazing team!

Our veterinary hospital has been in business for 97 years, we must be doing something right! We have two busy veterinarians who perform a variety of procedures and treatments. We have employees who have been with us for over 2 decades and clients for generations.

• Executing treatment orders
• Performing blood draws
• Collecting urine samples – void, express, cystocentesis
• Administering medications – PO, IM, SQ, SL, IV
• Keeping cages clean and sanitized
• Walking, feeding, and picking up after the animals
• Various housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, taking out garbage etc.)
• Calculating medications mg/kg
• Creating a dosing schedule from the DVM orders
• Communicating with clients via phone and in-person
• Taking Radiographs, Operate blood machines
• Restraining animals
• Outpatient procedures
• Filling prescribed medications

• 1 plus year veterinary experience or education

• Team-oriented

• Ability to multi-task

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
