Malteurop Job Board is Hiring a Regional Finance & IS&T Director Near West, WI
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manage all financial operations for the Region (account receivables and collection, account payables, cash management, general ledger…) as well as Legal and Tax activities.
Ensure effective coordination with the Head Office Finance and IS&T Team
Ensure correct margin and cost accounting.
Lead the team that provides insightful analyses to drive financial and business results improvement.
Provide direct Financial/Legal/Tax support to the Senior Executive Team in running the operations, driving initiatives and making sound business and strategic decisions and investments.
Leads the process of developing long-term strategic and financial plans, annual budget and reforecast, as well as rolling cash forecasts.
Oversee Legal and tax functions, including coordinating activities with outside advising/supporting firms and auditing bodies.
Ensures preparation of accurate financial reports and tax returns/declarations in compliance with US, Canadian and Mexican governmental regulations, and manage the corresponding audit processes
Manage Company's banking relationships in liaison with the Head Office team
Drive improvement of the accounting, administrative, tax and reporting processes and systems in terms of accuracy, effectiveness, efficiency and control.
In coordination with the Head Office IS&T teams, oversee the IS&T operations and systems supporting the operations in the region and lead or support improvement projects.
Lead and manage in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Manage Finance and IS/T Services personnel, developing their skills and capabilities to meet the needs of the organization, as well as, address new needs and skills gaps
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree: Finance or Accounting; Master’s Degree and/or CPA
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing is required, experience in Supply Chain is a plus.
10 years’ experience in a leadership role.
Experience with ERP system; SAP strongly preferred.
Understanding Hyperion and French GAAP is beneficial.
Proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
Experience and motivation in developing finance teams.
Experience working in worldwide groups is required (experience with European groups preferred).
Experience in leading financial operations for multi-country business operations within the grain, malting, or agricultural commodity industries
