DESCRIPTION:

Manage and coach day to day activities of 8-10 custodial workers in a manufacturing facility. Ability to make day to day decisions while using excellent problem-solving skills. Willing to participate in any area custodial process if necessary due to attendance, or emergency situations. Ability to communicate to clients with discretion and professionalism. Ability to adapt as a team player and independent worker and give guidance and instruction with authority and respect to staff.

DUTIES:

• Notify personnel of their work location and areas of responsibility at start of shift.
• Conduct new employee training when necessary.
• Ensure personnel are following guidelines regarding safety, protective wear, dress code, cell phone use, etc
• Observe work of custodians to ensure procedures, work instructions, and activities are correct and consistent
• Relay personnel requests to management, such as time-off, vacations, and excuses

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good computer and typing skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook (Basic)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and multitask
• Ability to manage people in an objective and professional manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Automotive industry experience is desirable
