JOB TITLE: Operations Manager (Full-Time, Non-Exempt)
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
LOCATION: Birmingham, AL
SUPERVISES: None
JOB SUMMARY: This position is crucial to our chapter's success. It involves supporting day-to-day operations by performing integral tasks. The individual will assist the Director of Operations in meeting coordination/implementation, communications with stakeholders, recruitment of interns, and initiating processes to meet ongoing needs. Additionally, they will handle data entry and provide database support, which is critical for client support and donor stewardship.

SALARY: Low $40,000s
OPERATIONS MANAGER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Incoming Monies (cash & in-kind)
· Working across teams to collect data as necessary
· Opening and processing mail
· Running credit cards
· Making bank deposits to ensure all donations are accurately deposited and recorded
· Accurately entering data into spreadsheets
· Ensuring backup documentation is sufficient
· Communicating with donor care group
· Reviewing data entered for accuracy
· Entering donor data and giving details on additional platforms
Internship Program
· Serve as primary contact for intern recruitment
· Assist with the orientation and training of new hires and interns
Office Management
· Handle incoming general phone calls and greet/direct guests
· Assist with meeting preparation, including agendas, catering, PowerPoint decks, etc.
· Work with Director of Operations on Employee Appreciation
· Serve as primary person for guests, hospitality, and meeting room management
· Serve as secondary point of contact for chapter IT needs
General Responsibilities
· Support Mission Delivery team with client expense cards, mailings, and other needs as needed
· Support fundraising efforts, events, and wishes as needed
· Support Leadership team administrative tasks as needed
· Maintain compliance with all chapter policies and procedures
· Work alongside Director of Operations to develop, maintain, and create policies/procedure
· Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations

· Proficient with Microsoft applications – emphasis on Outlook, Word, and Excel
· Ability to learn and master additional computer software like DocuSign and AdobeSign
· Working knowledge of Salesforce a plus
· Minimum 5 years of administrative/operational/finance experience preferred
