Responsibilities:

Engaging Interactions:Forge meaningful connections with residents, staff, and family members through positive interactions.

Companionship:Provide companionship and support to residents through recreational activities during daily visits.

Life Skills Coaching:Utilize your experience or interest in caregiving to assist residents with activities of daily living, including medication reminders, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and housekeeping.

Documentation:Maintain accurate records of daily service logs and track progress towards residents' care plan goals.

Meal Preparation:Prepare dinner for/with residents and adhere to dietary plans.

Communication:Report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

Education:High School Diploma

Experience or Interest in Caregiving:Prior experience or a strong interest in caregiving for individuals living with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Dependability:Demonstrate reliability and commitment to fulfilling job responsibilities consistently.

Compassion:We value individuals with the right skills and personality traits, regardless of prior experience.

Certifications:CPR and First Aid certifications preferred, or ability to obtain within the first 30 days of employment.
