For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to a $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible experienced Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!

Position Summary (This position will consist of 32 hours per week.)

The RN is responsible for excellent delivery of healthcare services to assist with diagnosis and treatment in young adults to geriatric adults in accordance with prescribed standards. Responsibilities include assisting with invasive and non-invasive procedures such as a stress test, TEE, cardioversion, holter monitoring placement and EKG’s.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. 1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
   2. License/Certifications: Current/Valid License in the state of Maine as a Registered professional Nurse. Current BLS and ACLS Certification.
   3. Experience: 1-2 years of experience in acute care, ED and/or Surgical Services required.
   4. Articulates elements of professional practice and demonstrates:
      • Knowledge of Evidence Based Practice and Patient and Family Centered Care
      • Understanding of teamwork and collaboration
      • Effective verbal/written communication skills
      • Knowledge of process improvement and sound safety strategies
      • Competence with computer applications
   5. Demonstrates competency to perform venipuncture on adults
   6. Demonstrates competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation
