MaineHealth is Hiring a Program Manager - Specialty Pharmacy Interested in working for MaineHealth Near Portland, ME

Summary

This position is a key leadership role within MaineHealth’s ambulatory pharmacy program focused on meeting strategic and operational goals for the health-system’s Outpatient Pharmacies. This position will help support MaineHealth’s owned Outpatient Pharmacies (Retail, Home Delivery and Specialty) with creating strong connections within MaineHealth Medical Group Ambulatory Clinics. Through strong partnerships, this individual will implement a workplan and timeline to meet regularly with MaineHealth Medical Group Ambulatory Clinics. Key focus areas include sharing information about the MaineHealth outpatient pharmacy services, obtaining feedback from clinics and working with the pharmacy leadership team to strengthen MaineHealth Outpatient Pharmacies. Additionally, this position will analyze prescription fill data for MaineHealth Medical Group Ambulatory Clinics and report out regularly to pharmacy and clinic leaders.

Position Summary

This position plans and oversees the development, implementation, operation, and daily management of assigned programs. Additionally, the incumbent plans and oversees processes that ensure program goals are measured, analyzed, evaluated, reported, and met. The position supports the operational aspects of assigned program, including development of program materials and tools. The role is also accountable for implementing program work plan(s) and assuring the completion of day to day activities. May manage 3 or more small programs, 2 medium or one large program. The role mentors, oversees and directs other program resources and is accountable for cultivating a culture of engagement.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

    1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in health care or related field preferred. Master's Degree preferred.
    2. License/Certifications: Licensure/certification may be preferred or required.
    3. Experience: 2 years of program management or related work experience. 3-5 years of health or related work experience.
    4. Strong facilitation skills
    5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    6. Strong business acumen
    7. Strong collaboration skills and adaptability
    8. Strong organizational skills
    9. Strong written and oral communication skills
    10. Demonstrated ability to model professional behavior by working as a valuable team member, respecting others, and maintaining open and honest communications.
