This role is for the Medial Assistant under the Nurse Practitioner in the Sleep Lab.

Mid Coast Medical Group–Pulmonology, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine | Pulmonologists and Sleep Doctors in Brunswick (midcoasthealth.com) has an immediate need for a full-time, 40 hour per week Medical Assistant (MA) to join our care team. The Medical Assistant will function as a team member of the Mid Coast Medical Group and will facilitate the goals of this office, which are:

• To deliver quality patient care which includes maintaining strict patient confidentiality.
• To present a positive and respectful attitude to the patient and community for Mid Coast Medical Group and Mid Coast Hospital.
• To operate efficiently and ensure prudent use of resources.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

1. Education: Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant Program (medication administration must be component of the program). Associate or Applied Science degree preferred.
2. License/Certifications:Receive Medical Assistant certification within one (1) year of hire date. Maintain certification including recertification every five (5) years (as required by the American Associate of Medical Assistants [AAMA]). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
3. Experience: N/A.
