Summary
Maine Medical Center is seeking a Director of Infection Control to oversee and manage assigned personnel and infection control services across the acute care and ambulatory care spectrum of the MaineHealth southern region. Accountability includes supervision of the day-to-day operations of the program, including such functions as infection surveillance and accreditation readiness, as well as working with Epidemiology leadership to define and execute long-term strategic plans. The director will be responsible for budget stewardship, operational efficiency, and training and development of infection control personnel. The director serves as a resource to the infection control staff and for staff throughout Maine Medical Center and the campuses and practice sites within its license. The director will also provide expert infection prevention guidance for colleagues across MaineHealth.
