MVH-Augusta is hiring a Clinical Instructor (RN) to work in our new state-of-the-art facility, now open. MVH-Augusta is the first of its kind in Maine to deliver long-term care through the small house model. This model offers residents a way to maximize normal living environments and routines, providing a sense of community and better quality of life.
The Clinical Instructor will be involved in the interview and selection of CNA-In-Training candidates and instruction of the CNA curriculum. This position will also work with the interdisciplinary team to weave small house principles into the coursework and curriculum. Other courses to be led by the Clinical Instructor include, Basic Life Support, Feeding Assistance, and CNA-M. Working close with the Staff Development Coordinator, they will help identify other educational initiatives and opportunities within the Home.
