Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Customer Service Representative. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their satisfaction and enhancing their shopping experience. In addition to providing excellent service, you will also be responsible for selling lawn mowers and parts, utilizing your product knowledge to assist customers in finding the perfect equipment for their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the store, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, assisting or directing calls as necessary.
- Enter all work orders into the computer system accurately, ensuring neat and readable handwriting on work tags for incoming jobs.
- Utilize typing skills to input data efficiently and effectively.
- Sell lawn mowers and parts to customers, utilizing product knowledge to make recommendations and fulfill their needs.
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions securely and accurately.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading equipment, requiring some lifting.
- Maintain the sales room in a neat and orderly fashion, ensuring a pleasant shopping environment.
- Enter data and utilize computer resources daily, including looking up parts for repairs and translating technician's notes for invoicing customers.
- Ability to multitask effectively while providing excellent customer service.
