We are a full service, small animal hospital and dental specialty referral hospital. Our doctor team consists of three medical doctors, our dentist and a dental resident. Our reputation in the area is outstanding. We have been established in Flower Mound for 35 years and obtained our AAHA certification in 1998. We work with the local animal shelter as well as several service dog organizations.
We are located just north of Dallas and Fort Worth in the beautiful town of Flower Mound TX, voted "2017 Best Cities for Families in the US", "2018 Most Livable Small City in the US". We are a fully equipped hospital with electronic medical records, full in-house lab, ultrasound, digital radiography, Cardell monitors, and all the equipment needed to achieve full baseline diagnostics.

Overview: We are seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our growing team and help ensure we are providing those great experiences. When you join our organization as a Veterinary Technician, you gain access to a peer network of over 5000 individuals, CE allowance, and Learning & Development programs to help you meet your career goals.
Responsibilities / Qualifications: Position Skills:
- Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms
- Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
- Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members
- Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring
- Proficient in dental prophylaxis
Position Requirements:
- Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
- Associates degree in Veterinary Technology
