Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure food is cooked and served in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
- Assist with food preparation and food handling as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Skills:
- Strong cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Proficiency in using knives and other kitchen equipment
- Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced kitchen
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient meal preparation
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Willingness to help out with various tasks in the kitchen as needed
