Storti Quality is looking to hire individuals who are looking to work in construction as a Natural Gas Detector Technician. Our team of visual inspectors and NGD installers work across the Twin City area, and are responsible for ensuring natural gas service lines are not leaking and are free of corrosion, while providing a service to the customers and keeping the customers safe.

Compensation starts at $22-25/hr. Employees also receive a $450/month vehicle allowance.

(Must have personal vehicle to be eligible for the role)

Responsibilities:

• Perform external surface inspections for visible corrosion
• Conduct leak testing with gas measurement instruments
• Report results on mobile devices using dedicated application
• Install Natural Gas Detectors (NGD)
• Maintain a safe worksite environment

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of construction experience
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Utility customer experience is a plus
• Computer software proficiency
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
• Third-party liability insurance coverage ($100K/$300K/$50K) with collision and comprehensive coverage (deductibles $1,000.00)
• OSHA 10-30 or HAZWOPER training
• Ability to carry 40-pound loads
• Climb ladders and withstand prolonged standing/walking
• Comfortable working in inclement weather
• Compliance with all client requirements
