Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the needs and goals of individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients, including teaching and modeling appropriate behaviors
- Monitor and track client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychologists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care
- Train and supervise behavior technicians or other staff members working with clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment plans
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities, preferred
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and techniques
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation tools and procedures
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to behavioral health
