About the Role

As the Customer Success Representative at Magma Math, you will play a crucial role in ensuring teachers derive meaningful value from the product and our services. You will serve as the first line of contact for teachers through our chat support, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding them to achieve their goals with product resources. Your goal is to foster trust and loyalty with teachers by providing exceptional support and guidance throughout their journey with Magma. We have a high bar for teachers’ satisfaction, and we are known for our promptness and personalization. 

Location

  • NYC
  • 4 Days in Office, 1 Day Remote

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for teachers’ inquiries via Intercom (our live chat support) This responsibility spans 8 AM - 5 PM ET Mon-Fri
  • Troubleshoot technical issues that arise in Magma, including investigating bugs, and reporting them to internal teams promptly
  • Document feedback and communication from teachers to support the evolution of Magma as a product
  • Strive to exceed teachers’ expectations and contribute to their overall satisfaction and district retention efforts
  • Assist sales and customer success teams with administrative tasks. To name a few: uploading student rosters, updating knowledge base articles in the Help Center, editing decks
  • Collaborate across teams to address customers’ needs and identify opportunities for improving the customer experience

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of professional experience
  • Strong passion for service and exceeding customer expectations
  • Stellar communicator with the ability to maintain professionalism in urgent situations
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
  • Highly organized and can manage multiple tasks 
  • Fun and dynamic team player - looking to collaborate and eager to work closely with the Customer Success Team
  • Flexibility with working across time zones

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $55,000-65,000
