Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is searching for a Software Engineer/Developer to work on-site at the Army's Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) in a lab that focuses on tactical radio communication systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Self-directed troubleshooting of complex configuration and coding issues
• Coding and debugging applications in various software languages
• Creation of test plans that ensure issues are properly identified, then fixed and tested
• Working alongside other developers, programmers, and designers to both upgrade existing systems, as well as develop new software programs and apps

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• 1 year of software development experience (commercial/government)
• Extensive experience developing in Java
• Willing to work full-time on-site at APGwhen required

Knowledge and Skills

• Android development experience
• Web Application Development experience
• Familiarity with Agile development method

Education

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Other Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Eligibility for, or current possession of, an active DoD Secret clearance
