Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of our company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.

Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry for accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and distribute customer invoices
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments
- Assist with payroll management, including processing employee timesheets and ensuring accurate calculations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and company policies
- Utilize accounting software systems such as Workday or PeopleSoft to perform daily tasks
- Understand debits, credits, and basic accounting principles

Experience:
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
