POSITION OVERVIEW 

We are seeking an individual to join our Brand Incubation & Product Innovation department for core fragrance private label brands. In this key role, the individual will support the day-to-day of the full product development cycle and marketing needs across a variety of projects for several of our key outsourcing fragrance accounts.

The ideal candidate has a passion for product, maintains a high level of organization, demonstrates strong communication and client management skills, thrives in high-paced environments, and loves the details of a project. The ability to function within deadlines while working both independently and as a part of a team is essential for success. This role will work closely and collaborate with internal cross-functional team members, as well as lead communication and follow-ups with brand stakeholders to see projects through from ideation to launch.

PAY RANGE:

$60,000/yr - $70,000/yr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Including but not limited to:

  • Support external communication and weekly meetings with client, ensuring all brand needs are managed in a timely manner
  • Responsible for supporting full product lifecycle management from creative concept through market launch and activation
  • Help manage marketing calendar to ensure all product/seasonal launches are executed on schedule and on budget
  • Lead competitive & market analysis, track category & data trends, monitor new launches in relevant categories
  • Support the development of brand strategy and annual brand marketing plans by setting vision and defining success for brand innovation pipeline
  • Support cross-functional team members by setting up administrative documents related to product lifecycle
  • Develop detailed creative concepts, fragrance, packaging, and design briefs to drive creative vision for projects based on brand & client needs
  • Partner internally with design studio & operations teams to fully execute artwork process for each brand
  • Prepare & attend weekly client meetings – taking detailed notes and organizing samples, sending physical pieces to clients as needed
  • Track, organize, and document incoming packaging and fragrance samples
  • Keep detailed notes and tracking system for all open projects and product development status
  • Support evaluation of packaging, formulas and fragrances and ensure feedback is communicated promptly to all stakeholders
  • Help organize and participate in brainstorming sessions and fragrance evaluation smell sessions

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (marketing, product development, etc.)
  • Must have a passion for and a genuine love for beauty, fragrance, product development and innovation.
  • Extremely organized, detail oriented, resourceful, and capable of prioritizing & juggling multiple projects at once to meet tight deadlines
  • Upbeat, positive, and professional attitude
  • Minimum of 1-2 year’s work experience in beauty categories, experience in fragrance category is a bonus
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with all levels of management and customers
  • Must be a team player, this role works closely with external team members, i.e.: clients, and internal cross-functional teams daily
  • Strong presentation skills, experience, and comfort with presenting to internal and external teams
  • Must be able to analyze data, market trends, competitive brands and products
  • Creative & Strategic thinker with proactive mentality – thinking ahead, showing initiative, problem solving and follow-through
  • Thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment and open to change
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
