We are seeking a maternity cover for our marine Licensing Specialist. A pivotal role in managing one of our major client’s marine licensing from A-Z.
Please note that this is a 3-month maternity cover contract.
This is an opportunity to be a key player in a growing and established business with an enviable global reputation. Based in Houston, as our new colleague in our TMS department you will provide first-class service to our clients, playing a key role in enhancing the quality of the services offered. You will be the point of contact for inbound licensing inquiries, managing licensing information, handle renewal and upgrades. You will become part of an engaged team that takes pride in Customer Service.

• Act as the face of our company, embodying our Core Values and principles in how we do business
• Managing full marine licensing process including renewals, upgrades, license originals
• Monitoring and Managing training compliance
• Understanding and knowledge of oil and gas training matrices
• Ensuring compliance by Flag state and US Coast Guard Standards
• Process vendor payments and reconcile accounts
• Delivery and update of certificates within relevant systems
• Producing reports relating to licensing overview
• Effectively handle inbound inquiries through channels such as email, phone and mail

• The ability to interpret complex rules, guidelines, and policies and apply them in a practical setting
• Exceptional communication skills and is self-assured in liaising with people at all levels
• Excellent attention to detail with experience in working with databases including data entry and processing
• You are outgoing and enthusiastic with a robust character
• You will be highly driven, able to work independently whilst still being able to fit within a small team
• You enjoy working in a very fast-paced office environment
• You can communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and written
• Proficient in the use of MS Outlook, MS Office products, and similar computer-based software
• Previous experience in a similar role would be highly advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided
