The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served in the Day Surgery. He/She ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the units standards of care. He/She demonstrates
performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing systems; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.
Required Skills:
1. Current BLS Certification;
2. ACLS Certified within one (1) year of hire;
3. PALS Certified within one (1) year of hire.
4. Completes Nursing Orientation Skills Evaluation within 90 days of hire.
Minimum Education:
1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
2. Current Registered Nurse license within the State of Idaho
