We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our Resident Services Department as Care staffing Coordinator at Madison House!

Full-time opportunity!

Earn between $28 and $30 / HR, DOE!

Day Shift available! SUN - THURS, additional shift coverage may be required.

Who you are :

You work with the Resident Services team to efficiently and effectively schedule Resident Assistants with assistance and guidance from the Director of Resident Services.

You operate as a care staff leader and assist with training Resident Assistants; manage and oversee ordering and stocking of care staff supplies.

You assist with the interviewing of Resident Assistant candidates and diligently works to fill shifts using internal staff.

You work shifts as needed that cannot be filled.

What you'll do :

  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, scheduling, appreciating, coaching, disciplining, scheduling and reviewing Resident Assistants with guidance from the Director of Resident Services.
  • Maintain proper stockage of resident service supplies.
  • Assist with interviewing Resident Assistant candidates.
  • Diligently work to fill shifts using internal staff; if unable, will be required to work the shift as needed.
  • Learns special needs of residents and report changes in behavior (physical or

emotional) to licensed nurse on duty.

  • Be familiar with and follow Employee Information Guide expectations, specific job duties, state boarding home regulations, and nursing policy and procedures.
  • Able to receive / return routine phone calls within 24 hours; urgent within 4.
  • Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to maintenance supervisor or charge nurse.
  • Report immediately any on the job injury to supervisor or charge nurse.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Meet daily with Director of Resident Services to discuss current operations.
  • Spot check flow sheets daily to assure completion and signature; audit flow sheets every Friday.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Must possess an upbeat, positive, flexible, and enthusiastic personality and be congenial with fellow employees, residents, and the public at large.
  • Must be an honest and dependable individual.
  • Must maintain proper hygiene.
  • Must be professional in dress and presentation.
  • Must be willing to be active during entire work shift.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in Standard English and use own judgment and initiative in daily activities.
  • Must be a mature individual. Must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.
  • Must have strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Must be detail and team work oriented.
  • Must attend required in-services / workshops to further education of skills and community requirements.
  • Must be drug-free and submit to urinalysis drug screening upon hire and routinely.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.
  • The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Koelsch Communities.

Licenses, Certifications, & Education Required :

  • CNA certification or HCA certification in accordance with state regulations including maintaining CEs and licensure requirements certified within 120 days of Date of Hire if in WA or AZ.
  • Must possess a current CPR / First Aid certificate and update as needed.
  • Passed an approved food handler’s or ServSafe course as required by County, State and / or Community policy.
