- Unload all semis.
- Understanding how purchase orders work and follow direction
- Label and put product away.
- Assemble displays.
- Cleaning and warehouse maintenance.
- Take used/damaged mattress and furniture to the dump.
- Box truck operation/pick up truck operation
- Clean driving record
- Greet customers as they arrive/ learn a basic walk back.
- Write receipts.
- Have an active count of inventory for sales personnel on a daily/weekly basis.
- Look for more effective ways to improve how product is stored and moved around the back areas.
- Learn furniture repairs/warranty work.
- Complete deliveries and ensure delivery log is correct. If money is collected during delivery, make sure it is documented and put in the cash bag.
- Inspect all pieces before having customer sign off on deliveries/pick ups to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with sales as needed to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Learn basic sales and customer service skills
- Assist with other locations as needed with transportation of product.
