The Grounds Maintenance Technician will perform routine day-to-day grounds maintenance around a variety of commercial and residential properties within the portfolio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Daily cleaning of exterior of buildings to include sweeping of debris, removal of trash from containers, cleaning of landscape beds.
· Spot cleaning of exterior glass.
· Graffiti removal.
· Regularly inspect the exteriors of buildings for proper maintenance and cleanliness. Immediately report issues or problems to the Property Manager.
· Snow removal and de-icing during winter months.
· Power wash exterior sidewalks, driveways and other exterior facilities.
· Be available for after-hours emergencies as directed by the Property Manager.
Skills:
· Experience with operating a Bobcat, which is used for snow removal.
· Excellent customer service skills with a desire to exceed customer and tenant expectations.
· Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure the job is done correctly the first time.
· Ability to follow proper safety techniques.
Other Requirements:
· Grounds and general maintenance experience
· Lift up to 50 pounds. Be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavy items.
· Maintain accurate time records and send to payroll when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
