A multi-billion dollar real estate development firm is seeking a Finance Manager.
The firm specializes in building commercial properties for major retailers such as Starbucks,
Shop Rite, Target, Walgreens, Publix, and Home Depot along the east coast. In several cases,
the firm owns the real estate for the entire shopping center where these retailers are located.

This is a new position that is open purely because of company growth. The role itself is much
different than a standard property accounting position, they have a separate accounting team
that manages the mundane AR and Billing process with their tenants.

This group is responsible for more complex FP&A, Financial Reporting and presenting key data
to senior leadership to help impact investment decisions. They do not have a specific FP&A
team and this team is responsible for both finance and complex accounting.

Description:

• Work with SVP and VP of Accounting to enhance and/or develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation, effectiveness, and efficiency of the department
• Total involvement with all accounting and reporting functions of assigned portfolios under management including reporting results internally and externally to lenders and investor partners
• Manage and monitor cash flow and forecasting
• Participate in the preparation, review, and re-forecast of annual budgets

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience from a national CPA firm with Real Estate clients OR industry experience within accounting or finance with a real estate focus
• Commercial Real Estate is a plus
• CPA is a plus
