Madison-Champaign County Educational Service Center is Hiring a Behavior Specialist Near Dayton, OH

Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated servant leader with strong behavior management experience to support the districts in Madison County. 
Ideal candidates will possess the spirit of leading with a servant’s heart.
Full-Time position 
8 hours/day
5 days/week
188 days/year
Start Date
August 7, 2024
Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in applied behavioral sciences, psychology, education or other related fields preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist staff in: defining and measuring behavior; understanding principles of reinforcement; teaching new behavior; implementing strategies for decreasing behavior; and identifying antecedents
  • Develops intervention strategies that produce tangible evidence-based benefits within specified time-frames.
  • Knowledgeable of special education law.
  • Designs/implements programs to improve school success for all students.
  • Communicates regularly with school administrators.
  • Be skilled in collaborating with direct staff and agency stakeholders.
