We need a macaron and Madeleine baker 3-5 days a week. We are growing rapidly and need another baker to expand. We currently make 5000 macarons a week and need to increase that with another 2 days of baking, plus help on our "filling" and packaging days.
Pay $20-26 depending on experience. A steady hand and piping experience a must. Macaron experience a definite plus. Attention to detail is important.
Schedule will be evenings. As a baker, you will have a baker's assistant on your baking days and usually work no more than 6 hour shifts (macarons are demanding physically!). We make sweet and savory macarons, sweet and savory madeleines, and frozen custard from scratch. Our standards are high but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Lots of room to grow with our company. We will need a kitchen manager and supervisor soon. If you excel we offer incentives and raises periodically.
