Job Summary:
We are a commercial construction company seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant/Contract Administrator to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for processing owner contracts, processing subcontracts and purchase orders, completing prequalifications, updating meeting minutes, tracking vendor insurance certificates, renewing state licenses, tracking lien waivers, and sending out checks, among other duties. Construction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Preparing owner contracts, including AIA contracts

- Preparing subcontracts and following up to make sure they are signed and returned along with required backup documentation
- Updating meeting minutes for staff meetings and progress meetings

- Completing prequalifications

- Tracking vendor insurance certificates

- Tracking returned lien waivers and sending out vendor checks

- Updating project list for current year projects

Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Construction experience is preferred
- A minimum of five years of experience as an administrative assistant

Note: This is a full-time position, in-office position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
