Shop Service Technician PE

Summary: Our Shop Service Technician will troubleshoot and repair heavy construction equipment in-shop. This person will specialize in custom solutions for critical and complex applications, service, and repair of construction equipment and associated accessories. The opening is for our Harrison, AR location.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot equipment failures in-house and handle repairs of equipment as directed by his or her supervisor.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on equipment in the field.
• Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of and capability in reading and understanding schematics.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of, actively practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment.
• Prepare various reports as directed to maintain accurate records on equipment and preventative maintenance.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience servicing and maintenance of construction equipment.
