Job Description:

We're currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Prepper to join our Neptune, NJ team. This role is vital in ensuring that vehicles are meticulously prepared for painting, contributing to the high-quality finishes that our customers expect. As part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in our continued success, helping to maintain our reputation for excellence and high standards of service.

Responsibilities:

• Sand vehicles and vehicle parts to remove imperfections and create a smooth surface for painting.
• Mask and protect areas not to be painted to prevent overspray.
• Apply primers and prepare surfaces for the painting process, ensuring a flawless finish.
• Collaborate closely with the paint team to achieve seamless color matches and superior quality finishes.
• Uphold a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to safety guidelines and best practices.
• Additional duties as required, supporting the team to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Auto Body Prepper or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with auto body repair techniques and processes.
• Competence in using hand tools and preparation equipment.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to achieving perfection.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
