Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue from hotel rooms, catering services, and venue rentals.
2. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through proactive prospecting, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
4. Sales Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the specific requirements of clients, showcasing the unique features and benefits of our hotel, catering services, and event venues.
5. Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements, contracts, and pricing to achieve win-win outcomes for both the client and the business. Close sales effectively and efficiently.
6. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the hotel operations, catering, and event planning teams to ensure seamless execution of client events and to address any client concerns or special requests.
7. Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth and maintain a competitive edge.
8. Reporting and Performance Metrics: Track sales activities, maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales transactions, and generate regular reports to evaluate performance against sales targets and objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven track record of success in direct sales, preferably within the hospitality or events industry
Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to overcome objections and handle rejections effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.
Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
