Our client, a family-owned and operated commercial moving and move management company in Oakland, CA is looking for a reliable and experienced Truck Driver / Installer to join their team.

In this role, you will operate manual transmission vehicles and install furniture.

Responsibilities :

• Safely operate manual transmission vehicles such 26-foot truck
• Load and unload furniture using warehouse equipment
• Install furniture with expertise and care.
• Utilize a range of essential tools including : toolbox, an 18-volt drill with Phillips and flat-head bits as well as drill bits for drilling holes, a tape measure, a level, open-end wrenches ranging from 1 / 4" to 3 / 4", sockets of the same size range, a mallet, a hammer, a pry bar, and screwdrivers (both flat head and Phillips #1, #2, and #3).
• Transport materials to designated locations.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation Inspect vehicles before and after each trip.

Qualifications :

• Able to lift 50lbs.
• Experience installing furniture.
• Able to drive a Class-C truck (up to a 26-foot truck)
• 2 years of driving experience
• Copy of their license

Pay and Shift :

• Monday - Friday
• Possible Saturdays, Sundays (On Call)
