Lydech Thermal Acoustic Solutions (TAS) is Hiring a Line Operator - Fibers/Plant 3 - 2nd Shift Near Yadkinville, NC

Lydall Thermal Acoustical Solutions (TAS) manufactures industrial thermal insulating solutions, and thermal and acoustical barriers for heat abatement and sound dampening applications. Lydall TAS serves a number of markets with the majority of products sold to original equipment manufacturers and tier-one suppliers. The company serves customers via manufacturing operations and sales offices in North America, Europe and Asia. Lydall TAS offers a full line of innovative engineered products to assist in noise and heat abatement within the automotive and industrial markets. The business manufactures acoustical damping and thermal insulating solutions comprised of fiber and metal based composite product constructions. These products are typically found in the interior (dash insulators), underbody (wheel well, fuel tank, exhaust) and under hood (engine compartment) of passenger vehicles, heavy duty trucks, recreational vehicles as well as in other industrial applications. The segment employs approximately ~1400 employees with operations in the U.S., Germany, France and China.

Job Summary:

Continuous manufacturing production & inspection on production line.Primary responsibility will be operation of production line machinery. Meet production rates & improvement targets. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to make proper machine settings based on product specifications for set-ups and production run
  • Read & follow manufacturing orders, control plans, SOP’s, safety requirements
  • Inspection ofproduct going into and out of process
  • Support and maintain the world class manufacturing system (including 6S, Kaizan, waste, safety, SMED, Kanban, and mistake-proofing)

Other:

  • Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules
  • Must be able to work extended hours when required
  • All other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate:
