Description

As a vital part of our Transportation team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by delivering products and providing warehouse services as necessary. Operating primarily along the East Coast, this position involves frequent overnight travel. Your duties will include maintaining a clean and well-functioning refrigerated vehicle, keeping detailed delivery and temperature records, and representing our company with professionalism. You may also assist in Charlotte Warehouse activities as needed to fulfill a 40-hour work week. The position reports directly to the Sr. Logistics Manager. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

· Deliver products to Hissho locations across the East Coast 

· Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean and in good working order 

· Keep the delivery van tidy and report any maintenance needs promptly

· Maintain accurate daily delivery and temperature logs 

· Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic and safety regulations

· Load and unload materials at customer locations 

· Assist with warehouse tasks such as order filling, stocking shelves, processing returns, receiving, and shipping, if needed

· Undertake additional duties or projects as assigned by the manager

· Check and pack materials for delivery if necessary

· Keep shipping equipment maintained and work area clean and safe 

· Fulfill other responsibilities as directed by supervisors or designated personnel

Requirements

· Minimum 1 year of experience as a delivery driver 

· Previous experience in warehouse distribution is preferred

· Must be at least 21 years of age

· Must possess a clean driving record

· Possession of a valid driver's license for operating company vehicles

· Ability to work weekends if necessary
