MDS Coordinator Job Specification:
The MDS Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely completion of the Minimum Data Set assessments and care plans for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
MDS Coordinator Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Complete and submit accurate MDS assessments in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans for residents.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all MDS-related documentation requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and train staff as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to resident care.
MDS Coordinator, Here’s What You’ll Need::
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Kentucky.
- Proven experience as an MDS Coordinator or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of MDS processes and regulations.
