The Aparecio Foundation provides academic support and scholarship programs for hihh-potential, low-income women in public high schools through an eight-year multiple-mentor program.The culture of Aparecio Foundation is characterized by an informal and laid back environment, where employees work independently and in teams to develop and carry out effective organizational structure and work processes. Therefore Aparecio Foundation employees are given freedom to be creative and energetic in performing their tasks and duties as professionals in their respective field of expertise.Job DescriptionResearch and identify available government and private funding opportunities.Maintain knowledge of proper protocols and all relevant local, federal, and state guidelines required for the proper proposal submission process. Generate revenues for foundation programs and services through submission of researched, well- written, and well-documented fund-raising proposals.Generate proposals and all required supporting documents in response to solicitations. Write reports to foundation, government, and other funders of the foundation.Create and maintain funding calendar activities for foundation.Maintain communication on progress of obtained grants with project managers and executive staff.Serve as a liaison between the Aparecio Foundation and all funding agencies or organizations. QualificationsBachelor’s Degree required in related disciplineMinimum of 2 years experienceAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
