Luxco is Hiring an Infrastructure Manager Near Saint Louis, MO

We are looking to hire an Infrastructure Manager to join our Luxco team in St. Louis, MO. This role will be responsible for overseeing the technical infrastructure of the organization, ensuring that it is operating efficiently and effectively. This includes managing the hardware, software, networks, and data centers that support the organization's IT operations. The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for planning, designing, and implementing the organization's IT infrastructure, as well as managing the team of IT professionals who maintain it.

What will you do?

Strategic Planning 

  • Responsible for the analysis, design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of all facets of the IT Infrastructure and Networking.
  • Work closely with the VP of IT & Security and other key business decision-makers in identifying and implementing cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the business.
  • Coordinate with the VP of IT & Security to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery within the department as well as the recommendation and implementation of new investments within the technology infrastructure.
  • Working with the business/IT leaders, set direction and vision for support for third-party, on-premise, and cloud applications and services.

Continuous Improvement 

  • Plans, coordinates, and directs all daily operational activities and provides direction and solutions that enhance mission-critical operations of the IT infrastructure department.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements, expansions, and/or reduction of services that meet the changing needs of the business over time.

Tactical Planning 

  • Managing team to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and appropriate fashion while working closely with the senior management team and business units to ensure alignment with the company’s objectives.
  • Coordinate IT activities to ensure data availability and network services with as little downtime as necessary.
  • Providing oversight for 24x7 IT infrastructure services and operations.
  • Monitor IT Infrastructure, system performance, trouble tracking and remediation for all Infrastructure issues.
  • Maintain knowledge base within the department, coordinating the implementation of best practices and the adoption of suitable trends. 

Project Management 

  • Implement IT policies and procedures that enable strong risk-management capabilities.
  • Manage Infrastructure projects, including allocation of resources, assignment/delegation of subprojects and tasks, tracking of project milestones and completion, project budgeting.
  • Manages project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders.

Leadership 

  • Hire, supervise, develop, evaluate, mentor, and coach staff.
  • Work cross-functionally with other Information Technology staff, partners, vendors, stakeholders, business partners, suppliers, and other teams to ensure the successful completion of programs and projects.

Security 

  • Work with the VP of IT & Security for the overall monitoring and management of all security service categories including Policy Development, Security Training, Identity and Access Mgmt., Firewall Device Mgmt., Threat Detection/Response, and other categories as designated.
  • Works with security vendors and other external partners to resolve issues.

What do you need to bring to the table?

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Information Systems field or related work experience.
  • 7 years experience in an information technology role and 3 years experience in organizational leadership and career development.
  • Ability to build, transform, and mature End User Compute Operations.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT infrastructure operations including a good knowledge of IT best practices, industry trends and compliance requirements.
  • Working knowledge of IT Service Desk and Operations activities, including customer service and communications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in logistics and procurement in hardware and 3rd Party Systems/Tools.
  • Experience with vendor performance management, development and managing SOWs, RFPs, SLAs, and general vendor relationships.
  • Ability to multitask, manage and meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to perform complex analyses and complete tasks successfully on time.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills (written & verbal).
  • Strong management skills with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent.
  • Self-motivated/directed to handle multiple tasks and projects with minimal direction.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills are required.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and work demands.
  • Problem solving skills that positively impact our business.
  • Demonstrated ability to timeline projects based on the scope and consistently deliver based on the timeline.
