New State of the Art Pediatric Dental practice located in West Sunrise, FL is looking for an outgoing, motivated, bubbly and experienced dental assistant join our team. ***A working knowledge of front desk duties and insurance verification processes will also be favorable.***

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required

Responsibilities and Duties

• Energetic Personality!
• Providing excellent customer service to all patients and visitors
• Prepare patients for and assist doctor in patient diagnosis and treatment
• Take radiographs as needed
• Perform dental cleanings
• Chair-side Assisting - 4 handed dentistry
• Place sealants
• Perform post-operative patient care
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control
• Clean and stock operatories
• Entering clinical notes and patient treatment plans
• Treatment Plan Presentation and insurance benefit education
• Open to work out of office events (schools, parks, etc)
• Enthusiastic about social media: Instagram, Facebook, Newsletters - you name it!
• Teaching patient’s appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling)We take pride in providing the best possible dentistry and care to our patients and their families.
