New State of the Art Pediatric Dental practice located in West Sunrise, FL is looking for an outgoing, motivated, bubbly and experienced dental assistant join our team. This is an EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY for a vibrant dental assistant with an extroverted personality to join our growing pediatric dental practice.

We cater to the dental needs of children and pride ourselves on offering exceptional care to all our patients and their families.

Experience is strongly preferred, but exceptions will be made for a self-motivated, pro-active learner with a fun personality that can add to our team of friendly, high-energy professionals. We are looking for someone who is interested in being dedicated long term with a company that affords them room to grow and maximize your professional potential.

Applicants must be reliable and have a flexible schedule and should possess the following qualities: fun, friendly, outgoing and extroverted/bubbly personality, STRONG WORK ETHIC, ability to multi-task and own responsibilities, reliable, proficient computer skills and be an interactive team player with a can-do attitude.

***A working knowledge of front desk duties and insurance verification processes will also be favorable.***

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Energetic Personality!
  • Providing excellent customer service to all patients and visitors
  • Prepare patients for and assist doctor in patient diagnosis and treatment
  • Take radiographs as needed
  • Perform dental cleanings
  • Chair-side Assisting - 4 handed dentistry
  • Place sealants
  • Perform post-operative patient care
  • Perform instrument sterilization and infection control
  • Clean and stock operatories
  • Entering clinical notes and patient treatment plans
  • Treatment Plan Presentation and insurance benefit education
  • Open to work out of office events (schools, parks, etc)
  • Enthusiastic about social media: Instagram, Facebook, Newsletters - you name it!
  • Teaching patient’s appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling)We take pride in providing the best possible dentistry and care to our patients and their families.
