Key Duties and Details for Shipping & Receiving Material Handler :
- Manage all activities associated with shipping and receiving of manufactured and non-manufactured related goods and supplies
- Responsible for activities in the warehouse such as warehousing of raw materials and finished goods, logistics, and proper space management
- Assure prompt receipt and disposition of purchased goods and supplies from vendors
- Log receiving reports with every shipment of incoming goods.
- Maintain and update shipping / receiving department files pertaining to purchase orders, receiving reports, pick-up and delivery schedules
Qualifications for Shipping & Receiving Material Handler :
- Warehouse lead experience
- Forklift operator experience
- Shipping / receiving experience
