Lititz – Skilled Nursing RN Supervisor Weekend Shift

We’re currently seeking dedicated Registered Nurse Supervisors for weekends only at our skilled nursing healthcare center at Luther Acres, a Luthercare community in Lititz, PA. Whether you’re looking for more work-life balance or need childcare solutions, this position might be perfect for you! RNs in our special weekend program commit to two, 12-hour shifts over 48 weekends per year (7AM-7PM) and are compensated for a rigorous weekend work schedule with a significant incentive rate of $55.00/hour. The position has no on-call responsibilities or expectations. Team members in this program are not eligible for any employer-sponsored benefits

WHAT YOU DO:

As an RN Supervisor at the Luther Acres Skilled Healthcare center, you’re an integral part of providing compassionate care to the residents in our skilled nursing center and ensuring they are comfortable by monitoring their overall health and well-being. Among your responsibilities, you will: 

Supervise an assigned skilled nursing area. Designate tasks and provide instruction and direction in methods and techniques of nursing and resident care in accordance with established standards and procedures. Ensure that nursing care plans, charts, and treatment schedules are followed by nursing staff. Perform nursing duties following licensure scope of practice. 

Oversee and perform resident assessments and formulate a plan of care based on the MDS/QR assessments, diagnosis, and daily needs. 

Provide clinical expertise and oversight in the management of medical emergencies and interventions to treat and prevent further events. Manage resident emergency situations following established protocols, coordination/accessing appropriate healthcare team members and resources, and properly documenting events. 

Order and receive medications, treatment supplies, resident care supplies, and nursing station supplies for the assigned area. 

Responsible for the coordination of care with physicians, consultants, and other practitioners. 

Our RNs and LPNs are assisted by Certified Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides in providing care to our residents.

Luther Acres – located in the charming, historic town of Lititz – is a Continuing Care Retirement Community with a long history of providing excellent care and services. It is part of Luthercare, which is a not-for-profit, faith-based, and mission-driven organization. Luthercare provides a network of services through its full continuum of care with three communities in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties. Luther Acres is its largest community, with nearly 600 residents living across its independent living cottages and apartments, personal care apartments, and skilled nursing healthcare center.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania 

Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate
