GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for managing and implementing all aspects of the sales process for Lutheran Village and The Good Shepherd to achieve community occupancy and sales goals. This position is responsible for developing and fostering relationships with potential residents, family members and decision makers, as well as referral sources, and also coordinates all aspects of the move-in process, where applicable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, gerontology or related field
EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years sales and/or marketing experience in a senior health care, housing, or service setting with a proven track record of meeting goals, or equivalent level of education and experience.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Must demonstrate empathy and compassion to connect with customers.
Demonstrated relationship building and influencing skills with adult populations.
Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to prioritize effectively.
Demonstrated effective communication skills, verbal, written and listening.
Demonstrated computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office and database applications.
Strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Demonstrated team and leadership skills.
Ability to convey a professional and mature image.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed by the business and be “on-call.”
