Seeking Shop Foreman / Lead Tech for brand new Genesis of Minneapolis

Genesis of Minneapolis, the Exclusive Genesis Retailer in the Twin Cities is excited to announce the construction of our new state of the art dealership. We are looking forward to opening of our new dealership summer of 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with vehicles, including powertrain, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Conduct inspections and tests to identify vehicle problems and provide accurate diagnoses.
• Complete repairs efficiently and effectively, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts used.
• Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair recommendations, and estimated costs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various automotive issues.
• Knowledge of powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrains.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
