Luther Bloomington Hyundai is seeking an experienced Auto Technician to join our team at our new, state-of-the-art climate controlled shop in Minneapolis, MN.

This full-time position offers a competitive base rate plus commission, as well as a bonus on warranty production, making it an excellent opportunity for skilled technicians in the auto industry. As an individual contributor, the Auto Technician will be responsible for performing high-quality repairs and maintenance on vehicles, ensuring our customers receive top-notch service.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose and repair various vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, electrical, and suspension problems
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent service
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to accurately diagnose and repair vehicles
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards set forth by the company
- Continuously update and expand knowledge of automotive industry and new technologies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Auto Technician
- ASE certification preferred
- Must have own tools
- Excellent mechanical and technical skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
