Luminator is seeking to fill our full-time Supply Chain Analyst role to join our growing and dynamic Material Control team where you will be an integral part of the team by providing valuable input as we work toward assessing and implementing goals and mission of the department and Luminator. This is an opportunity to be part of something new and exciting within Luminator Mass Transit.

Summary:

Luminator is seeking an Supply Chain Analyst who is committed to transparency, diversity, teamwork, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. Supply Chain Analyst will oversee responsibility for Supply Chain/ Inventory Optimization, Strategic Sourcing, and supply chain process improvement activities. This position will provide both strategic and tactical support to Luminator Mass Transit Business Unit by maintaining accurate site level analyses and KPIs, leading Transactional process improvement efforts, working with business units to formulate and execute on macro plans designed to address gap and keep business units on schedule with continuous focus on optimal cash flow, inventory efficiency (turns) and customer on-time delivery. This role will be integral in setting the tone and culture at Luminator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead mid-level supply chain continuous improvement projects (systems, processes, logistics, sourcing), and works collaboratively across the SC organization to identify and recommend ways to streamline end-to-end processes
  • Apply statistical analyses to develop recommendations for process improvements to drive increased customer On-Time Delivery, Reduced Lead Time and working capital turns improvement
  • Responsible for development of sourcing strategies with supply chain leadership and assist in development of Master Service Agreements to ensure that they conform with program contract terms, conditions, and other provisions including applicable federal regulations and business team objectives prior to signature/acceptance
  • Manage KPI’s to measure, control and benchmark materials and procurement processes including creation of recurring metrics reports to drive improvements for the Operations network
  • Assist with the development of site-based macro plans focusing on SIOP processes and execution to optimize inventory, cash efficiency, material availability and customer delivery
  • Identify and implement new systems, processes, procedures, work instructions, and other actions supporting overall Operations Site Level Objectives
  • Engage with and mentor site planning and operations personnel to ensure necessary actions are being taken to improve inventory and customer delivery results
  • Be the single point of contact for the Luminator supply chain organization for tactical reviews and updates
  • Participates in Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen events that will eliminate waste and result in significant benefits (Growth, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) throughout the Supply Chain
  • Provide monthly report outs highlighting key risks and focus areas by business unit

  • Expert user of ERP platforms including Syteline
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools including SQL, Crystal Reports and Tableau
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and scope changes to existing tools and processes using traditional project management tools and techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to collaboratively work with key individuals at all levels of the organization to implement changes
  • Ability to create followership and deliver results through different organizational chains
  • Organized thought process, high attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate results
  • Effective at meeting deadlines, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Customer centric focus with the ability to build and maintain strong inter department relationships

Education/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related field required
  • 3 years of experience in supply chain operations required
  • Prior experience as Supply Chain Analyst, Sourcing Specialist, Commodity Buyer preferred
  • Direct experience implementing lean concepts (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen Leadership, 5S, etc.) preferred
  • Experience analyzing and improving supply chain data, information, and processes along with previous experience in supplier chain processes like procurement, strategic sourcing, SIOP, etc. preferred
  • CPIM, CSCP, PMP, Lean Manufacturing and Six-Sigma Green Belt certifications preferred
