Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including cleaning equipment and workstations, organizing inventory and merchandise, caring for the furniture, restrooms, patio, plants, and other furnishings in the cafe
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries
- Provide product recommendations to customers based on their preferences
- Collaborate and communicate with team members positively to ensure efficient operations

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role/knowledge of coffee and espresso basics preferred
- Knowledge of retail math and basic math skills for cash handling
- Familiarity with operating a cash register or point-of-sale system
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent customer service
- Understanding of food handling and safety regulations in the food industry
