Lumenance is Hiring a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analyst - Full Vehicle Near Marysville, OH
Lumenance is searching for motivated Automotive Computer Aided Engineers (CAE) with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) experience in a transportation industry. This is a contract engineering position with Honda R&D. The candidates must be capable of contributing to a fast paced, project development environment for automobile design and manufacturing.

Summary of Duties
Utilize understanding of Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) to support the Exterior Performance Test Department with full vehicle aerodynamic pressures results and estimation of aero acoustic performance through CFD simulation.
Build full vehicle CFD models for aero-thermal analysis
Conduct follow-up analysis and address issues via identification and coordination of counter-measures
Interact with designers and suppliers as needed to gather data required to perform analysis
Use technical expertise to generate creative and innovative solutions
Help to study correlation to tests and make recommendations on how to improve predictive models
Able to review and understand engineering documentation (drawings, specifications, instructions, etc)
Overtime will be required to support project deadlines
Requirements
Education
Bachelors in Mechanical, Aerospace or relevant technical discipline
Masters or advanced degree preferred
Required Skills
Experience as CFD analyst with direct experience using Fluent, Star-CCM , or OpenFoam
Minimum of 4 years experience creating high accuracy models using ANSA or equivalent tools for full vehicle level CFD model construction, visualization, and analysis.
Familiarity with custom CFD methods for improved modeling and analysis.
