We are currently seeking an Aeroacoustics Engineer. You will join our Aerodynamics team to minimize wind noise and contribute to creating acoustic and vibration harmony in Lucid vehicles.  Role:

• Contribute to wind noise simulations and testing activities to achieve world-class quietness
• Identify opportunities for aeroacoustics improvement, provide and implement innovative solutions
• Advance the development of robust processes to perform accurate vehicle wind noise simulations
• Work interactively and efficiently within a multidisciplinary cooperative environment, directly interfacing with the design studio and other engineers

Qualifications:

• 5 years of relevant experience; MS or PhD degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Aerodynamics Engineering
• Solid understanding of aerodynamic and acoustic fundamentals
• Strong knowledge of vehicle aeroacoustics
• Experience with various CFD and CAA software
• A practical hands-on experience with experimental acoustic measurement
• A team player attitude
• Outstanding communication skills

 Preferred:

• An ability to create CAD surfaces to develop new concepts or modify current design
• Experience with air flow-generated noise from HVAC components and fans
• Vehicle Testing experience in aeroacoustics wind tunnels and road tests.
