Title: Staff Engineer, Revenue, Martech and Platform

Location: US-Remote #LI-Remote

About the role

Join the LTK Family! As a member of the Revenue Engineering team, you will help build a world-class payment system for LTK. We integrate with business partners and payment systems worldwide to deliver the best possible experience for our Creators. We build infrastructure for revenue affiliate integration, settlement, and cash reconciliation of all transactions and payments, generating data and reports for our bundle partners, and revenue partner workflows. 

We are looking for a Staff Engineer to join our team of talented engineers that share a common interest in the future of finance, data & data pipelines, and architecture. You'll be one of the technical leaders in the Revenue Engineering area, and your impact will span multiple teams and projects. We are looking for someone who can drive development and delivery, mentor other engineers to grow, build sound architecture, and foster best practices when it comes to designing, coding, and testing software.

As a Staff Engineer on the team, you will work with Product Managers, cross-functional engineering teams, and Revenue Finance to design and evolve architectures that can handle massive data and build highly configurable pipelines to support global workflows for complex financial functions. How you will make an impact

  • Be a technical leader and core leader within the Revenue Engineering team
  • Support members of a squad in delivering scalable, auditable, secure and reliable data/backend - services
  • Coordinate technical projects spanning multiple squads and facilitate collaboration between engineers and product managers
  • Possess a deep understanding of the product and business goals which you can translate into tech requirements
  • Architect, design, develop, deploy, and operate services that are responsible for processing LTK’s revenue 
  • Technical subject matter expert in Revenue, who mentors fellow engineers, demonstrates technical experience, and leads teams in solving challenging problems.
  • Contribute to the vision and long-term strategy in your domain of expertise
  • Provide leadership in staying up to date with the developments in relevant technologies and market trends to identify enhancements
  • Evaluate external vendors and partners as needed from time to time
  • Participate in the recruitment & interviewing process of engineers

What you will bring to LTK

  • Strong business acumen to understand all aspects of the businesses including sales, order processing, operations/fulfillment, and accounting
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, proficiency in business process modeling and redesign, requirements management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with business units and communicate with team members, stakeholders, and management
  • Extensive experience in designing and building both highly reliable traditional back-end services & distributed data processing services
  • Deep understanding of system design, data structures and architecture
  • You care about quality and you know the importance of shipping high-quality code
  • You have a positive attitude and desire to learn about the Creator industry

Technical Skills:

  • 8 years with software backend systems, architectures, and infrastructure.
  • 5 years with data architecture, data processing tools, and reporting technologies.
  • History of building highly scalable distributed systems and processes in a cloud environment
  • Experience with Golang preferred
  • Docker and related technologies
  • CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration
  • Experience with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, Glue (among others).
  • Have built scalable internal and public-facing APIs (RESTful, JSON, HTTP)
  • Experience with Kafka or similar
  • Relational databases
  • Service orchestration with Temporal.io or Airflow is a plus 
  • Integrating 3rd party API's (REST, OAuth)
  • Background or familiarity working with Finance or accounting partners and stakeholders
  • Experience integrating with payment processing systems is preferred
  • Experience of working in a SOX-compliant environment is a plus
