As a part of our growing territories, the outside sales representative position offers a long-term career choice with a stable and reputable company within the optical industry.

The territory sales representative is responsible for building relationships with optical retailers and should have demonstrated experience in growing and closing sales. This position requires prospecting and developing new accounts, with a focus on building long-term customer relationships and increasing sales revenue. This position requires proven territory management skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to carry and lift sample bags weighing up to 50 pounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cold calling and in-person visits to established accounts for the purposes of building a buying relationship.
  • Meet sales quotas and revenue targets by prospecting and developing new and existing accounts, and growing strategic relationships.
  • Tasked with increasing revenue within the assigned territory by initiating regular, in-person contact with existing and potential clients, and introducing these clients to LTD Eyewear's products.
  • Travel in your vehicle to existing and potential client sites throughout entire sales territory.
  • Enthusiastically present and promote LTD Eyewear's products to existing and potential clients to increase sales.
  • Confer with head office as needed.

Must Have:

  • A customer-focused attitude

  • Strong relationship building and business development skills.
  • Familiarity with time, territory, and call cycle management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service and listening skills.
  • High energy, stamina, and resourcefulness, with the ability to be on the road five days a week.
  • The drive to accomplish goals and objectives.
  • A competitive desire to grow our product lines.
  • Clear, common sense with critical reasoning skills and the ability to obtain information, evaluate alternatives, seek advice, make recommendations, and take action.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email).
  • Collaborative/cooperative relationship with management and corporate colleagues.
